Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will be a part of a key team at Equal Opportunity Schools, focusing on department effectiveness and supporting the Sales team and sales cycles. Our organization has set ambitious three-year strategic priorities, and a key part of delivering on those priorities is growing the number of public high school districts we partner with. This position is expected to participate in and drive scalable operational effectiveness of sales and customer success efforts. This position pays in the range of $122,500 - $140,000. The Senior Business Analyst reports into the Sr. Director of Sales Operations and Data Analytics. This role requires traveling 2 times per year for company events.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis using Salesforce and Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools as appropriate.
  • Successfully lead multiple tasks and project workstreams, ensuring timely completion.
  • Foster strong relationships with team members and individuals, in pursuit of achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and data analysis, and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans and insights.
  • Offer advice and guidance to others in applying information and proven methods.
  • Taking ownership of data hygiene for the Salesforce platform and any other data intake pipelines.
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations through effective communication.
  • Work with Reporting team (Data visualization experts) to ensure executive dashboards are accurate.
  • Gather input, garner buy-in, and effectively communicate throughout the cycle of improvements, including effectively communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations.
  • Updating documentation and provide training/enablement to end-users to support their effective and accurate usage of Salesforce.
  • Assisting in receiving, processing, and communicating invoicing and payment associated with in-person convenings and a set of contracted roles within Partnership Development.
  • Draft and finalize Collaboration Agreements that are the foundational business document for districts and schools to partner with EOS.
  • Serve as a liaison, as needed, during the Collaboration Agreement negotiation process for modifications or requests that are outside of the standard terms in EOS’ templates. Monitor approvals and update Salesforce to reflect all approved changes.


Requirements/Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel•Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Effective multitasking abilities, with experience in managing various tasks
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Travel up to 10% of the time with at least 2 in person all company retreats per year
