Overview
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the plant location’s accounting.

Responsibilities and Accountability

• Cash Management/Treasury responsibilities – Manage cash, collections and disbursements for the location
• Asset/Liability Management – Manage Accounts Receivable including collections, Inventory controls including month end and year end inventories, Accounts Payable
• Financial Reporting – Manage monthly financial reports
• Manage Internal controls and plant adherence to them
• Work with CFO to create annual budgets for location
• Work with CFO to ensure depreciation schedules and asset management accuracy
• Manage office staff – Oversee workflow to make sure all necessary functions are up to date and accurate
• Work with CFO to complete year end reporting, audit documentation, and bank covenant reporting
• Participate in Management meetings as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Knowledge of general accounting policies and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (macros, pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational, project management, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively with attention to detail
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Team player, able to work collaboratively and positively, at all times
• Strong accounting skills and business acumen
• NetSuite experience a plus
• ERP integration experience and systems knowledge a plus
