American Family Insurance Agency in EVERETT Washington, is looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to help us sell our amazing insurance products and services as a Full Time Insurance Sales and Customer Service Representative. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with our agency. Every day you'll be using your strong communication and customer service skills, problem-solving, rapport-building, and time-management talents to ensure you are providing the best experience for your clients.

No Previous Insurance Experience? No problem!

Are you currently selling another product outside of the insurance industry, a student or graduate struggling to decide on a future career, or somebody with no experience who is interested in beginning a career in insurance? This is the perfect fit for you. Entry-level applicants will begin with at least $38,000 annual base salary and can earn at least an additional $25,000 in commission during their first year.

Experienced applicants start with a $42,000 base annual salary and being top performer can earn an additional $35,000 in commission a year.

Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.

Document each customer contact in eAgent.

Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.

Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.

Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.

Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.

Confident, self-starter who works well independently.

Prior Sales Experience.

Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.

A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

Driven and goal-oriented individual.

Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.

No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
