WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Senior Reporting Accountant, you should have strong GAAP knowledge framework, will be responsible for month-end close procedures, maintaining general ledger, the reconciliation of account balances, bank statements and credit card statements, reviewing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable subledgers. You should have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Month-end Close and Financial Reporting

Lead month-end close procedures and perform key closing tasks.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.

General Ledger Management

Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Review journal entries and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Tax Compliance

Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including corporate income tax returns and sales tax returns.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Work with external tax advisors as needed to address complex tax issues.

Financial Analysis

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Audit Support

Coordinate with external auditors during annual financial audits.
Provide support and documentation as needed to ensure a smooth audit process.
Implement audit recommendations and internal controls to strengthen financial procedures.

Consolidation Reporting

Monitor intercompany transactions.
Reconcile intercompany activities and settlements.
Provide consolidated report for the enterprise.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA preferred.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.

SALARY

$100-$110k a year

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (Hybrid)
