Restaurant Manager

We are looking for people who enjoy working as a team, who are able to fill gaps that may be overlooked, and who would like to grow within this company as we expand. We are looking for people who like to be social as we serve hundreds of guests daily and have a staff of 100 people. This is a large management team, which allows us to spend more time talking to the guests, and work more closely with the staff to make sure we are perfecting our restaurant.

Starting salary: $50,000+

Bonuses: Paid out quarterly based on profitability, this location hits its profitability projections consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with supervision of front-of-house staff.
• Be accountable for labor and cost of goods.
• Complete monthly inventory
• Coach employees with overall food preparation and customer service.
• Provide on-the-job training.
• Manage the daily operation of the restaurant.
• Schedule FOH staff in accordance to needs.
• Oversee building safety issues, ie: Food safety, repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements.
• Other duties are included, as assigned.

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year restaurant experience in a supervisory role, preferred
• Must possess good organizational, interpersonal problem-solving leadership and team building skills
• Adhere to all safety policies
• Must have reliable transportation
• Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers.
• Be a consistent role model for company's standards
• There is an expectation of working 50 hours a week, and having open availability. With such a large management team, we are able to accommodate most requests off and vacation time.
