Marketing Intern

We work tirelessly to raise student achievement, regardless of historical barriers, while committed to participating in ongoing professional development, job-embedded instructional coaching, and embracing a growth mindset.This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.As the Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for the following :

• Provides support to the Marketing and Admissions team in daily administrative tasks
• Canvassing at grocery stores, parks and other public locations
• Tabling and approaching people to start conversation at public locations or community events
• Assist in the creation of signage, flyers, mock ups, e-mail campaigns, on line promotion, etc.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of marketing materials
• Help organize marketing events
• Seek and analyze competitor marketing materials both on and offline
• Enter contact information into contact management systems
• Provide support to social media efforts
• Design/layout of publications
• Manage website updates
• Assist with outbound and inbound calls

About you:

• Current enrolled in a Bachelor's degree and experience in Marketing, or related fields
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer applications
• Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to perform multi-tasks
• Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
• Experience with content creation a plus, even if not profession
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 6 a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
