Job Description

SOCIAL INFLUENCER SPECIALIST

The Social Influencer Specialist is responsible for working with our social media team to create and coordinate content with social influencers. This is a hands-on role where marketing and public relations intersect, involving strategy, planning, and executing. You will partner across multiple departments to activate influencer marketing to drive the brand forward on all key initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute campaigns and partnerships with content creators and influencers
  • Build a core network of influencers.
  • Reach out to influencers and representatives to secure social posts on behalf of our brand.
  • As the influencer’s main point of contact, maintain timelines for deliverables, coordinate product delivery from brand to influencer, direct compelling content, and ensure payment.
  • Utilize video e-Commerce platform to manage video-based campaigns.
  • Collect all assets and share with required teams.
  • Leverage data and insights to make strategic decisions, updates and improvements to existing and future partnerships and campaigns.
  • Track sale, engagement, and metrics.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.

SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field with one or more years of social media experience in an influencer role, bilingual skills preferred.
  • Experience with influencer marketing is required.
  • Customer service, video creation experience is a plus.
  • Well experienced in the world of online bloggers and influencers and is capable of maintaining ongoing communication with our large network of influencers.
  • Understanding of social media landscape and digital marketing trends.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem solving, decision-making, and follow through skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking, cold calling, and communicating with high profile influencers.
  • Experience with analytics and reporting.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively utilize various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel in particular.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one workplace to another.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

We broadcast live TV feeds to over 75 Million US homes. We ship approximately 35,000 products every day. Approximately 60% of our revenue accrues via TV and 40% via Web. We house our warehousing, customer service, merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, live studio, management, etc., in Austin. The call center is outsourced to third parties in the US, South America, and Asia. We have had double-digit CAGR last five years.

We currently employ over 500 people in Austin. Approximately 75% of our sales come from jewelry, with the balance coming from lifestyle products. We see huge market potential in the US for its discount electronic retail through TV, Web, OTT, Marketplaces, and social channels. Our digital business is growing very rapidly, and we are very excited about our future growth prospects.
