Position Overview:

The role of the Inside Sales Specialist is to build strong wholesale customer relationships and grow sales in accordance with established goals by leveraging phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings as the primary modes of communication. This role demands a skilled, focused, and competitive individual with a drive to boost sales and play a pivotal role in achieving company sales objectives. Operating within a B2B sales framework, the Inside Sales Specialist is tasked with managing designated regions and projects to uphold existing business relationships with active wholesale customers, explore leads for potential new customers, and re-engage dormant customers to establish the company's products as the preferred brand within the industry. Crucially, the Inside Sales Specialist should possess self-motivation and collaborate effectively with product development, marketing, customer service, operations, and management teams to address customer needs and align with company business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Increase revenue from direct wholesale customer base through inside sales channels (e.g., phone calls, email, virtual meetings)
  • Develop relationships with new, existing, and dormant wholesale customers
  • Execute daily sales tasks using company resources, including inbound and outbound calls, email campaigns, virtual meetings, and follow-up methods to generate business opportunities across new, active, and dormant accounts, aligning with company standards
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, update customer data, and prepare relevant reports using a CRM system
  • Research, understand and identify customer's needs and preferences in order to recommend suitable product offerings
  • Qualify and respond to incoming leads promptly to promote product and service sales
  • Communicate brand and product information to wholesale customers
  • Facilitate and process sales orders on behalf of the wholesale customers
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and materials to enhance brand loyalty among direct wholesale customers
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with direct customers
  • Participate in trade shows to expand network and market presence
  • Maintain accountability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals through proactive customer development and maintenance.


  • 1+ year of retail management or sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Sales Force Automation Systems, EMUN, Concur, Web Based Data Presentation Systems and Business Intelligence Tools, Customer POS Systems, and must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams).

Compensation:

This is a good base salary plus commission with benefits career opportunity.
