Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Chief Risk Officer to lead our risk management function and ensure the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the organization. The Chief Risk Officer will play a critical role in safeguarding Servbank's assets, reputation, and regulatory compliance while supporting the achievement of our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across all business lines and functions.
  • Market Risk Management: Monitor and manage market risks, including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and foreign exchange risk, to ensure the stability and resilience of Servbank's balance sheet.
  • Operational Risk Management: Identify and address operational risks arising from internal processes, systems, and human factors to enhance operational efficiency and resilience.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
  • Risk Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain risk reporting mechanisms and analytics tools to provide timely and accurate information to senior management, the Board of Directors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Risk Culture and Awareness: Promote a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization by providing training, guidance, and support to employees on risk management best practices and principles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and risk management teams, to assess and address emerging risks and opportunities.
Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM, CRM) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in risk management roles within the banking or financial services industry, with a minimum of ten years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management frameworks and strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
