As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for creative and enthusiastic TikTok Reporters to join our team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TikTok Reporter to contribute to our mission of celebrating Black history and excellence. The TikTok Reporter will be responsible for creating engaging and informative TikTok content to report on news stories and provide valuable information to our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Produce high-quality TikTok videos that report on news stories, events, or relevant topics in an engaging and visually appealing manner.
• Research: Stay up to date with current events, research news stories, and gather accurate information from reliable sources.
• Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of information before presenting it to the audience, ensuring that all content is trustworthy and reliable.
• Audience Engagement: Interact with the TikTok audience through comments, questions, and responses, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
• Timeliness: Report on news in a timely manner to ensure that content remains relevant and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Journalism, Communications, or a related field or has a track record of creating viral TikTok videos (preferred but not required).
• Strong interest in and understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent research skills and the ability to identify trending topics and relevant historical facts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Creative thinking and the ability to contribute fresh ideas to content creation.
• Passion for celebrating Black history and culture.

This is a 3 month internship position for college credit with the possibility of extension.
