Freelance UI Mobile App Designer

Overview

Hello! Jubilee is looking for a creative UI Mobile App Designer to lead and execute all things design for our brand new nectar app! This person will partner with our Product and Marketing teams to ensure that we are building an app that is both visually appealing and highly intuitive for our audience. The ideal candidate is a master of design that is confident in leading mobile app design processes from ideation to execution!

The Job

The UI Designer will forge and lead the design processes for our nectar app. In this role, you’ll leverage your design background, knowledge of design systems, along with your understanding of our audience to create sleek and appealing app visuals and animations. You’ll work to increase audience engagement and retention through the art of design and strive to achieve a positive user experience!

What you’ll do:

• Partner with our Product and Marketing teams on the development of a visually savvy, seamless, and intuitive mobile app
• Create and communicate design vision to key stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and app experience
• Provide strategic thinking and leadership
• Design, build, test, release, and QA app designs
• Establish design systems, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens to facilitate an efficient product development process
• Design multiple UI design iterations using Figma
• Maintain consistent and comprehensive nectar aesthetic across the development of the nectar app

Who you are:

• 3+ years of UI mobile app design experience
• 3+ years of experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, etc
• Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts and palate development.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe
• Have a strong portfolio of demonstrated app design work 
• Comfortable owning processes and implementing changes to increase efficiency
• A creative problem solver - solution oriented
• Highly collaborative and communicative
