Administrative Assistant - CEO

HealthWays, Inc in Weirton, WV is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to the CEO.

Candidate should be a high school graduate with at least (5) years administrative experience, preferably with a senior management support background. Candidate must have a thorough understanding of and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite tools. Experience working with ADP/HRIS would be beneficial. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, must use tact and diplomacy when dealing with people who work for and meet the corporation. In addition, the candidate must be able to work on a daily basis with sensitive personal information.

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of duties of the CEO, requiring a thorough knowledge of the corporation’s organization, programs and policies and procedures. The incumbent acts as a personal assistant to the CEO by planning and coordination a variety of executive level activities. This involves the writing of memoranda, letters, etc., independently, or as requested by the CEO. This person is also responsible for the typing and distribution of the corporation’s policies and procedures and clinical policies to the staff as they are developed and/or revised by the CEO and the Healthways, Inc Board of Directors.

The incumbent schedules appointments and answers and screens telephone calls for the CEO. Daily this person handles corporation, as well as outside, problems/contacts as they relate to the CEO and informs the CEO.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and (5) years administrative experience, preferably with senior management.
