Job DescriptionCompany Description
IMAGINE ONE TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT, LTD., is seeking a mid-level IT Configuration Specialist to support the Surface Maintenance Engineering, Planning, Program (SURFMEPP). They maintain, monitor, and refine Class-wide and Individual-Ship Maintenance Plans for all non-nuclear surface ships to ensure material readiness for the projected service life, develop life-cycle strategies to address system upgrades, and fully implement the Class Maintenance Plan. SURFMEPP is headquartered at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia. U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assists with SURFMEPP Command special projects.
- Validate perceived ship maintenance issues by conducting data driven analysis, presenting results in various forms such as Pareto charts, Venn diagrams, histograms, pie charts.
- Harvest and analyze data from various Navy ship maintenance databases.
Experience Requirements:
- Requires a BS Degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience in a data center environment and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a data center environment and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
Required Experience:
- Experience working in and data management within the Configuration Data Managers Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and Model Based Product Support (MBPS) system.
- Possess a wide range of experience using relational, network, hierarchical, object-oriented databases and demonstrated experience with Platform Logistic Management (PLM) software in support of performing comparative analysis.
- Experience with surface ship configuration management processes, i.e., RIC, ASI Files, RAD Web, etc.
- Familiarity in developing, maintaining, and implementing MS SharePoint applications, reports, and other related programming.
- A thorough knowledge of computer technology and data processing techniques; knowledge and experience with digital document management.
Requested Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, test and deploy effective intranet sites.
- Demonstrated ability to pull data and run reports with the CDMD-OA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Surface Ship Class Maintenance Planning processes
- Strong knowledge of the Surface Ship Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
Security Requirements:
- US citizenship REQUIRED
- DoD Secret (or higher) is REQUIRED

C4ISR support include technical and engineering support such as: analysis of technical initiatives and new concepts for further exploration; research and preparation of new technologies; technical analysis support and reports on C4ISR architecture tools used to assess and verify demonstrations, tests and exercises; system software analyses, design, installation, testing and independent evaluation and assessments, and software upgrades.
For the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) test and evaluation (T&E) Support Services delivery order, Imagine One supports several SSC-LANT Program Managers with specialized requirements engineering, analysis, and tracking services. Imagine One worked with the customer to strategically plan how proven USMC T&E processes could be automated using the IBM Rational suite of tools to meet or exceed the overall T&E program vision and mission, and customer expectations.
Major contract vehicles supporting DoD customers include SSC-LANT 8(a) MAC, SeaPort-e, and GSA MOBIS, and 8(a) GSA STARS II.
