As a Business Development Manager, you will spearhead efforts to expand our logistics and freight services, both domestically and internationally. You'll leverage your expertise in transportation solutions to craft custom strategies that enhance client operations and drive significant business growth. This position is fully remote, though we have a preference for candidates located near San Diego, CA, to facilitate occasional in-person meetings and collaboration with our core team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to secure new business in ocean and airfreight services.
  
• Analyze client needs to design effective logistics solutions emphasizing cost-efficiency and service quality.
  
• Enhance and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their logistics needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  
• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and leverage these insights in business development initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery that upholds our reputation for operational excellence.
  

• Proven sales and business development experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create tailored logistics solutions.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Experience in freight forwarding, with a solid understanding of international trade regulations.
  

• Competitive salary range of $69,000 - $95,000 plus performance-based commission.
