Summary of Responsibilities

This position is responsible for overseeing the process of business development at ERX to create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients. The National Account Manager will work closely with company executives and management teams, meet with potential business partners, maintain existing client relations, and monitor market trends to create new business ventures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process to drive business growth.
  • Recognizing and conducting research on opportunities arising in both new and established markets.
  • Engaging in daily travel, with most of the time dedicated to external sales calls, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Maintaining data in the CRM System; creating daily weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Planning and managing client appointment schedules.
  • Responsible for the sales life cycle from prospecting to implementation.
  • Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings.
  • Responsible for Meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Responsible for analyzing and implementing business development opportunities and strategies.
  • Inspect and document homes and buildings for water, storm, or fire damage.
  • Identify and initiate contact with target customers such as insurance agents, insurance adjusters, plumbers, realtors, and commercial outlets.
  • Actively participate and network with industry-related trade organizations promoting the company services.
  • Deliver weekly presentations to small groups.
  • Reinforce relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Maintain contact through project progression and collections.
  • Host events and sponsorships.
  • Work within Marketing budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Education and/or Experience - Requires knowledge of the Restoration and Construction industries. At least five years of experience in business, sales, or marketing in restoration or construction is preferred. High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Computer Skills – Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to use Smart Phone, tablets, laptops, and multiple desk monitors is required. The ability to effectively operate and navigate Dash is a plus.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
  • Communication Skills –- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Has the ability to engage with customers face to face while demonstrating good listening skills, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Relational - Must be able to effectively build and develop relationships and demonstrate a positive brand awareness through all interactions.
  • Sales Experience - Experience selling to middle and senior level executives in the insurance, plumbing, HVAC, and real estate industries as well as property managers and public institutions.
  • License – Ability to drive and maintain a driver’s license and meet company driving and insurance requirements.
  • Vision – Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents.

Employment At-Will

Work Environment

The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet. The office work environment generally consists of indoor heated and cooled office space. This position will also require daily travel by vehicle. This position may also work remotely from home.
