We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our marketing agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is on strategy, on time, and on budget. The Account Executive will work closely with the client, account team, and creative team to gain and play a vital role in project management, estimating, scheduling, and budget management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the daily work of assigned accounts, ensuring that all projects are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget.
- Communicate with immediate supervisor regarding the status of deliverables, creative and production reviews, issues and/or concerns, creative briefs, status reports, and estimates.
- Develop and manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders know key milestones and deadlines.
- Have a sense of urgency and execute with attention to detail in all client needs-related activities.
- Learn the clients inside and out (products, the product category, the channels of distribution, and the competitive landscape).
- Learn the clients inside and out (products, the product category, the channels of distribution, and the competitive landscape) and develop strong relationships.
- Work closely with the creative and production teams to ensure that all projects are executed based on the client's strategic objectives and brand guidelines.
- Review all work prior to delivery to the client, including opening jobs, updating status reports, proofreading, and checking that all client requirements and/or changes have been addressed.
- Attend and contribute to weekly status meetings with the team.
- Copywriting and/or copy coordination when required.
- Assist in estimating projects and monitor the budget accordingly.
- Assist in monthly billing to clients.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness, sound decision-making, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Participate in new business opportunities when available.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in account management at a marketing agency preferred.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
