Job Description

The Position:

We’re looking for architects or project managers who demonstrate a thorough understanding of architecture and construction with strong management and communication skills. The ideal candidate is someone who continuously strives to better themselves by confronting challenges with purpose and overcoming them by way of creativity, intellect, and hard work. Our practice is results-oriented with a focus on accountability and overall excellence in the field.

Key Professional Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an NAAB accredited architecture school.
5+ years of work experience in design and construction industry with substantial time spent working on architectural construction and permit drawings.
General understanding and experience researching and applying Zoning Codes, Building Codes, Life Safety Codes, and Fire Codes.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients and project teams including other staff members, engineers, consultants, and contractors to successfully coordinate and complete projects on time and within budget.
General understanding and experience with products and materials, building systems, and construction types in order to accurately represent built conditions in construction and permit drawings.

Ability to reach creative design and project solutions.
Must be self-motivated with strong leadership skills.
Must be reliable, hardworking, and results-driven.
Must maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Required Software Proficiencies:

AutoCAD 2015 or newer
Adobe Acrobat (PDF Tools)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional Consideration Given for Software Proficiencies in: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Revit, 3D Rendering Software, Computer Programming, and Web Design Software.
