Description
Our Milwaukee office is currently seeking a marketing content manager to join its energetic and talented marketing department. This individual will play an integral role in telling the firm’s story across all marketing channels in order to engage clients, prospective clients, our industry, and our community.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of marketing and communication experience, including experience in content planning, writing and editing, and team management. A working knowledge of architecture and/or A/E/C industry experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with director of marketing to plan, develop, and implement content marketing strategies and channels, including website, email marketing, social media, and video
- Manage editorial calendar
- Write and edit content, with close attention to detail, for all digital marketing efforts including website content, news posts, email marketing, social media, etc.
- Work closely with architectural and interior design team members to identify and develop content marketing opportunities
- Lead project management of proposals and interviews for new business, including quality control and review process
- Lead project management and content creation for award submissions and industry presentation opportunities
- Supervise and support marketing coordinator and proposal + communication coordinator
- Coordinate with designers to develop graphics and other visual elements to support content in a variety of channels
- Ensure digital pieces, award applications, and other collateral support the firm’s strategic goals and brand identity, taking into account intended use, audience, and campaign goals and objectives
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing other job-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, architecture, or related field
- 7+ years of professional experience, including experience in marketing and communications, content planning, writing and editing, internal and external collaboration, and/or working in cross-functional teams
- Previous supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, project management platforms such as Asana or Monday.com, and content management system (CMS) platforms
- Demonstrated attention to detail and communication skills
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Working knowledge of the architecture industry
- Professional experience in the A/E/C industry
- Familiarity with and adherence to current best practices in content marketing
- Experience producing proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, or similar materials
- Superior work ethic that adapts to a flexible and responsive environment
- Ability to prioritize job responsibilities, work with autonomy, move multiple projects forward simultaneously, and adhere to deadlines
- Highly collaborative spirit that thrives as part of a creative and dedicated team
