Marketing Intern (Paid Media) - Summer 2024

We're looking for a part-time Marketing Intern who's excited to dig in, learn on the job, and help our marketing team grow our customer base through creative channels. This is a great opportunity to learn how marketing for a startup organization in the fintech space works.

This internship would be for Summer 2024 with the opportunity to extend the timeline with us into the future (fall internship or a future full-time role). The hourly rate for this role is $20/hour. This is a part-time role, ideally 20-30 hours per week. We're looking for candidates located in either Seattle, WA or New York, NY.

On any given day, you will:

• Help design and create ads and social media content and campaigns
• Dig into our marketing analytics and provide inputs on optimization and strategy based on this data
• Support paid media management
• Support site experimentation
• Support with integrating/incorporating new AI tools
• Help with entry and cleanup of marketing performance data
• Plays a key role on a high impact team with substantial room for career growth
• Supports other ad-hoc projects as needed

We're looking for someone who is:

• An undergraduate junior, senior, or master's student
• Studying a relevant discipline like marketing, design, economics, business, English, finance, creative writing, statistics/data science, etc.
• Previous relevant experience and or interest in applying AI (can include past jobs, internships, or experience supporting marketing for clubs or other organizations)
• Creative while being analytical
• A great communicator (verbally and written), able to distill complex information down to key messaging
