Location: Washington, DC areaSalary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experienceBenefits: Comprehensive PTO, Health Benefits, Retirement Plan, Performance Bonuses

Work Mode: 80% Remote, DC Area, quarterly travel

The Opportunity:

The RXN Group seeks a talented and dynamic writing/content account coordinator to bring strategic and creative writing solutions to our clients' diverse public policy challenges. You will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives across various mediums. This junior position is ideal for individuals with a knack for shifting seamlessly between topics, demonstrating an exceptional capacity for detail-oriented work, and collaborating effectively across teams to devise innovative solutions.

The Role:

  • Content Creation: Generate an array of written content such as op-eds, press releases, white papers, and talking points under tight deadlines, ensuring alignment with client messaging goals.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and discovery sessions to thoroughly understand and integrate client messaging objectives into all content initiatives.
  • Content Review: Provide prompt and meticulous edits, critically reviewing content produced by other staff members to maintain high-quality standards across teams.
  • PR Support: Offer additional editorial support to the PR team, enhancing the overall written communication efforts of RXN Group.
  • Cross Collaboration: Support RXN's grassroots teams with messaging and engaging content to educate, motivate, and activate the public to act on complex policy and political issues.

Who You Are:

  • A Skilled Writer: You have superior written and verbal communication skills and can convey messages clearly and effectively.
  • A Strategic Communicator: You have a track record of understanding complex issues and crafting persuasive narratives.
  • A Curious Researcher: You are naturally curious and quick to learn new issues. RXN's clients cover everything from healthcare to education, small business empowerment to banking, and legal services to advanced technologies.
  • Qualified: You have an undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or Creative Writing.
  • Bonus (but not required) - Digitally Native: You can navigate social media advertising platforms, publishing and graphics software, or CRM and email software platforms.
