Job Description
Salary: $70,000-$100,000 DOE

Position Overview: 

As a Project Manager specializing in Acquisition and Migration, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating all aspects of the acquisition and migration projects for our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution, meeting timelines, and delivering high-quality solutions that align with client objectives. This role is fully remote, however, we are seeking candidates from the following states: Washington, Utah, Texas, or Georgia. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Project Planning and Execution: 
    • Lead the planning, initiation, execution, and closure phases of acquisition and migration projects. 
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure project success. 
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including technical specialists, engineers, and consultants to execute project tasks effectively. 
  2. Client Communication and Relationship Management: 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. 
    • Establish and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates. 
    • Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. 
  3. Risk Management and Issue Resolution: 
    • Identify potential risks and issues associated with acquisition and migration projects and develop mitigation strategies. 
    • Proactively monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track. 
  4. Quality Assurance and Documentation: 
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. 
    • Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate the completeness and accuracy of migration activities. 
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, status reports, and change requests. 
  5. Team Leadership and Collaboration: 
    • Foster a collaborative team environment by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members. 
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise across departments. 
    • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies. 


Qualifications:  

  • Proven experience (5 years) managing complex IT projects, with a focus on acquisition and migration initiatives. 
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with MSP operations and service delivery models is a plus. 
  • This position may require occasional travel
