About the Role

The Account Executive will formulate and execute a strategy to enhance business growth. This role works in partnership with Marketing, Pre-sales, Product and Account Management, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is critical. The candidate will be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & first-class sales results. This position is responsible to drive new APL business acquisition through direct channels, including cross-sell and up-sell programs to meet the growth objectives of the company. The candidate will possess skills and experience with strong emphasis on lead generation and pipeline creation, along with prospect nurturing, lead prioritization and reporting used to refine marketing programs. The ideal candidate’s disposition is results-driven but with a focus on building relationships and developing to continually improve sales performance. This role is fully responsible for generating revenue and achieving individual sales quota. Develops sales strategy and implements plans for the assigned Accounts to achieve sales objectives.

What does a great Account Executive do?

Responsible for promoting and selling APL to potential clients and existing clients. Builds and maintains key relationships with leaders across various areas of the organization. Stays up to date with the latest trends and best practices in fintech, sharing knowledge and insights with internal teams. Builds pipeline and closes deals.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

  • Create forecasts and develop a predictable funnel of sales qualified leads that ultimately result in revenue.
  • Build and close a pipeline of APL business to drive new recurring revenue across InvestCloud’s solution set for both existing clients and new prospects in North America.
  • Execute sales strategies that represent best in class enterprise SAAS sales skillsets.
  • Ensure adherence to InvestCloud internal processes to close quality deals approved by product, delivery, infrastructure and support, finance and legal through PIM and Deal Desk processes.
  • Contribute as sales process participant per the 3x3 persona coverage approach and contribute to product roadmap planning through product road mapping process.
  • Assist with internal escalations on behalf of sales team and clients as needed.
  • Demonstrate prospecting, pipeline and activity objectives and monitoring via regular business reviews and Hubspot.
  • Provide weekly forecasting through Hubspot.
  • Deal Submission for Product, delivery and infrastructure approval: PIM and deal submission for finance and legal signoff: Deal Hub.
  • Contribute as determined by leadership to sales team trainings and deal reviews.
  • Contribute to new sales representative onboarding program to be led by HR, Sales Ops and Sales / Pre-sales leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 6+ years’ experience at a high growth fintech; 4+ years in a sales role building revenues.
    • Proven sales executive with 4+ years sales experience in large ($1 million ACV+) enterprise SAAS B to B sales.
    • Possess a clear understanding of both inbound, targeted outbound, funnel development, and channel marketing (both to and through).
    • Results-driven with very strong ability to analyze quantitative data to determine program effectiveness and ROI.
    • Must have budget management experience and financial analysis ability.
    • Demonstrated results in hitting lead conversion and revenue targets.
    • Proven sales executive with a track record of contributing to building and developing high-performing teams.
    • Deep understanding of partner ecosystems and how they work with direct sales organizations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of building strong working relationships across all levels of the company, including field teams.
    • High-energy, creative, team-oriented individual with a passion for building businesses and brands. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to change-manage and problem-solve.

        Preferred Skills / Experience

        • Prior sales experience selling Wealth / Asset Management technology to tier 1 firms.

        The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location.

        Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000
