Job Description
This is a hybrid position working three days in the office in Carrollton, Texas.

We're seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist who is not only highly motivated and analytically minded but also eager to make a strategic impact. As a key player in our team, you'll spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing site performance and improving the customer journey through data-driven strategies. Your responsibilities will include implementing A/B tests, analyzing site performance metrics, and managing the ticketing process for website improvements. Collaborating cross-functionally, you'll have the opportunity to optimize site conversion and drive growth for both leatherology.com and coverstore.com. Duties and responsibilities

   Website Analytics
  • Monitor and measure site usability and effectiveness while turning data into actionable recommendations
  • Provide insights and recommendations on site performance, user behavior and conversion rate optimization to improve the customer journey on both brand sites
  • Support Sr. Lead Product Manager with implementation and maintenance of tracking, event tagging and analytics to better understand customer journey and inform data-driven optimization opportunities
  • Ensure integrity and reliability of data by regularly monitoring data collection via tag management systems and website analytics tools
   
    Website Testing & Bug Resolution
  • Regularly test and optimize site performance based on pre-determined testing schedule
  • Adhere to a/b testing processes and methodologies. Report findings to stakeholder to make further recommendations
  • Partner on site development and bug fixes with back-end and front-end developers. Set an extremely high bar for quality and minimize site disruptions and negative customer experiences
  • Research competitors and stay up to date on digital trends via regular competitive analysis
 
     Project & Task Management
  • Assist Sr. Lead Product Manager in gathering business requirements, budgeting and designing solutions for large-scale projects
  • Work closely with graphics to build wireframes and thorough functional specs as needed. Ensure proposed enhancements are fully documented prior to submitting to IT.
  • Manage QA and ticketing process for website enhancements, auditing with great attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
  • Act as primary point and liaise between Merchandising, Marketing and IT teams to project manage website enhancements and updates
  • Communicate all updates, including new features, improvements and deprecated systems / processes to all necessary stakeholders
  • Serve as subject matter expert and be available to consult and troubleshoot issues that may arise after launch

Qualifications

    Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years relevant experience in digital product, project management or business analytics role in the ecommerce industry
  • Analytical with strong interest in customer behavior
  • Experience implementing retail UI/UX best practices and mobile-first, responsive design
  • Solid understanding and passion for a/b testing, UI and what makes for a great online shopping experience
  • Experience with any of the following:  Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Optimizely, VWO, Shopify, Magento, and HTML
