About the Digital Marketing Manager (SEO Specialist)
Upperline Health is seeking a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Manager with a strong focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to lead our digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and increase brand visibility. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital marketing efforts and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. 

This role will interface with other departments across the company to execute strategic goals. This person must have experience in digital advertising, web management, digital marketing and communication, and analytics. 

This position is a hybrid role based out of the Nashville office.

What You'll Do: 

  • SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization. 
  • On-Page and Off-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility. Implement off-page optimization tactics, including link building and content promotion, to enhance website authority and credibility.
  • Content Strategy and Creation: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and addresses audience needs and interests. 
  • Technical SEO Optimization: Audit website performance and implement technical SEO enhancements, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup implementation. 
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics, including website traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders to track progress and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in our SEO strategy. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and web development, to align SEO initiatives with overall marketing objectives and ensure consistency across all digital channels. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest SEO algorithms, tools, and techniques. Experiment with new strategies and technologies to optimize SEO performance and stay ahead of the curve. 
  • Online Advertising: Partner with paid advertising agency to monitor and optimize advertising performance based on key metrics. Collaborate with operations team to align monthly spend with clinics in greatest need of new patient volume.  
  • Website Management: Work closely with web development agency to ensure the website is optimized for user experience and conversions. Implement and analyze website analytics to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage the company's presence on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram). Collaborate with internal communications and freelance designer to create engaging content and campaigns to build brand awareness and engage with the target audience. 

Required Skills & Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • ​​​​​​​Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on SEO strategy and execution. 
  • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings, website traffic, and conversion rates through effective SEO strategies. 
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs. 
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation tools. In-depth knowledge of various digital marketing channels and best practices. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes. 
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.
