Customer Service Representative

Gator Insurance Service is searching for an experienced licensed P&C Agent with a proven track record in service and sales to join our rapidly growing, independent agency. We are experiencing a surge in growth, and we need talented individuals that are competitive and driven, motivated, responsible, coachable, and have a passion for helping families with their financial needs.

Job Description:

· Provides support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing customer accounts.

· Contribute to individual goals and agency success through promoting new business and cross-selling to our existing customer by assessing current and future needs.

· Make and receive a total of 35+ calls per day

· Advise clients on insurance matters and bind policies

· Review applications, renewal request, endorsements

· Process mortgagee request changes and provide declaration pages

· Process cancellation requests

· Must be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency with all customer requests

· Must be able to work in a team environment while being agile to completing induvial tasks on time

· Keep up with companies, worksheet, forms, bulletins, and manuals

· Keep up with continuing education (CE) and computer development

· Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, products, and overcoming common sales objections.

· Be able to meet individual and office goals

· Full time shift of 8 hours.

· Office Hours are 8:30am – 6:00pm, Monday through Friday and 1 Saturday a month from 9-1:00

· Must be willing to jump right in and not require a manager to hold accountable or motivate.

· Must be OBSESSED in providing a CONSISTENT level of Customer Service

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

· High School Degree or equivalent required

· College degree preferred but not required.

· 7+ years of sales experience

· Knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

· At least 10 years of experience selling and servicing insurance related products

· 4-40 required or 2-20 optional

· Might be available to work a minimum of one Saturday per month
