As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create user-centered designs for our digital products. You will be involved in the entire design process, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring that our products are visually appealing, intuitive, and functional. Your creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of user-centered design principles will contribute to the success of our products and enhance the overall user experience. To be successful in this role, you'd exemplify independently driven problem-solvers who enjoy working with people at various organizations to facilitate change.


What you will be doing:

  • Own the look and feel of our digital products, from discovery through delivery stage.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly interface designs that align with brand guidelines and design principles.
  • Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure design consistency across products.
  • Maintain a user-centered approach, in design perspective and practice.
  • Work as a collaborative team member with stakeholders, researchers, developers, and fellow designers.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, and user needs.
  • Build a solid understanding of the behavioral patterns that shape our core users' software, physical and connected experiences through conducting exploratory, generative, and evaluative research
  • Plans and leads design research to support multiple project teams in tackling an unexplored opportunity area, a complete product, or a complex feature set
  • Lead products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to engineers, clients and management
  • Help product managers assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints
  • Guide product decisions through user research and iterative feedback loops
  • Rapidly iterate design prototypes and working applications
  • Help develop visual identity systems, visual design, and define interaction patterns
  • Produce materials for business partners and developers, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, live style guides, and assets
  • Mentor others in their professional development as designers.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Relevant design certifications or coursework are a plus.
  • 7+ years experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar design role preferred.
  • Experience working with design systems, designing digital products and shipping impactful products at scale
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
  • Strong experience in design tools such as Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for staying updated on industry trends, design advancements, and emerging technologies.
