HelpDesk Support Specialist (Onsite)

Boundless is looking for a bright and technical Help Desk Specialist to support an in-office workgroup from a recent, newsworthy distributor acquisition. This position will support 30-40 users and requires working onsite in Mason, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for helpdesk support and for timely resolutions to end user issues. Must be a self-starter, excellent communicator, and strong at creating IT support and customer relationships. Reporting to corporate supervisor, must be able to work in a high pace environment and support mobile users working on Macintosh laptops. The following are some of the detailed responsibilities:

• Resolve hardware, networking, and various software issues.
• Administer user accounts, setup computers and user profiles.
• Create technical documentation and procedures.
• Provide onsite and remote user support via email, phone, chat, and remote desktop app.

• Must be security conscious, identify and remediate cyber threats.
• Provide backup support for the corporate IT Department.
• Have sound judgement to escalate issues to seniors within the HelpDesk organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience working with Apple and Windows computers.
• Associates degree in IT preferred but not required.
• CompTia A+, Network+, and MCP certification preferred or a strong foundation of technical knowledge working in IT operating roles.
• Must have knowledge and expertise working with MacOS.
• Must have knowledge and expertise working with Windows OS.
• Experience working with and administering Google Workspace (G Suite and, Gmail) preferred.
• Experience working with and administering Microsoft Office 365 - Entra, Exchange, SharePoint and, Teams preferred.
• Knowledge working with VoIP preferred.
• Must be willing to learn and support various software applications.
