Job Description

We're a daily political talk show looking for a political podcast/radio/streaming producer for an award winning daily podcast in it's thirteenth year of production.

Full scope and compensation of the position will be determined by background and skills.

Potential Responsibilities:

Guest Booking
Research, pulling stories to be used on air
Show preparation duties such as creating a daily beat sheet
Listen to the show and identify best segments to use in publication for social media and website
Other duties such as show titling, story editing
Special projects as they arise

Qualifications:

Strong research skills, strong writing skills
Should have limited audio editing/technical skills (or at least a willingness to learn)
Must have a near obsessive interest in politics and a sense of humor
