Job Title: Solar Account Manager

FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Onsite, Pflugerville, TX.

Compensation: A base salary plus commission with the potential to earn up to $100K+ annually

Job Description:

As we continue to build a strong team, we are looking for a forward thinking, self-motivated, adaptable, and highly organized professional to join us as a Solar Account Manager. The Solar Account Manager will be responsible for creating and presenting proposals to prospective customers to achieve revenue goals. The Account Manager will also be responsible for developing long-term relationships with their portfolio of assigned customers as
well as customers they have sold personally. They will be a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.

Essential functions:
Amongst other responsibilities, the Account Manager will:
• Close sales by creating and presenting proposals, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts for assigned territory
• Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, “trusted advisor” relationships with customers
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• The ability to maintain professionalism and stay organized in order to ensure a no pressure guaranteed sales approach
• Assist with severity requests or issue escalations as needed
• Focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as, generating new business
• Communicate consistently with the support staff, sales management, and other management resources as needed
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly prospects to management
• Forecast and track key account metrics
• Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned accounts
• Achieve assigned sales quotas
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
• Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Maintain budgeted Key Performance Indicators

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Work environment: This role is executed in both a field and professional office environment. Routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines

Physical demands: This role will require the physical demands of sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs., and periods of intermittent walking.

Travel required: LOCAL TRAVEL ONLY, team members must have a reliable source of transportation

Required education and experience:

• Highschool Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent, candidates with a minimum of 2 years sales experience will be considered if no degree is held
• Minimum one year Home Service Sales
• Excellent organizational skills
• Outstanding communication skills

Preferred education and experience:

• Experience with CRM programs
• Growing interest in the Solar Industry

Additional eligibility requirements:

• If hired, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Every employee of Longhorn Solar may be subject to a drug screening if extended an offer of employment
