Position Overview

  • Schedule – Monday – Friday 7am to 5pm - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
  • On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.
  • Compensation Package–
    • $200,000 - $250,000 /year (base salary)
    • Bonus Incentives include:
    • Other compensation includes discretionary annual bonus and profit sharing on carried interest.
    • The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate's experience and the geographical location of this position.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a CFO position or higher level.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • CPA/CMA is highly preferred.
  • Property/multi-entity accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • Construction/development accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Your Role

  • Perform essential financial functions and oversight for multiple entities including our construction company, development company, financial company and all other entities associated with ACG.
  • Oversee accounting division and manage all accountants and/or Controllers.
  • Plan and forecast, alongside Owner and Executive Team, financial roadmap for ACG and financial goals.
  • Direct in tax planning and preparation for all entities.
  • Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and controls for monitoring accounting functions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase revenues for the company.
  • Forecast, create and maintain budgets by using historical data and budget trend analysis.
  • The CFO will play a vital role in strategic financial initiatives for the company.
  • Ensure legal compliance and company policy compliance as it relates to taxes, finances, accounting principles, etc.
  • Work alongside Executive Team to develop investment/construction opportunities and strategize for future growth.
  • Assist in presenting profitability analyses to Executive Team and Owner for new investments and construction projects.
  • Work alongside the Executive Team to forecast and develop 3, 5 and 10 year plans for ACG.
  • Advise company President and CEO on financial issues and/or opportunities as they relate to business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to refinance on construction loans/properties and assist in the refinancing of properties and track loan maturity.
  • Track and monitor annual cash flow and income from current portfolio.
  • Develop, present, and monitor forward-looking, predictive model and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization's operations and business plans.
  • Build financial business plans and forecasts to ensure corporate fiscal Represent the company to financial partners, including lending financial institutions, investors, auditors, and public officials.
  • Refine financial tracking and reporting systems regarding affiliate and partnership needs including cash flow, capital accounts and equity with status reports.
  • Oversee capital/equity funding installments and draw schedule.
  • Develop and enforce internal financial controls.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and yearly book.
  • Manage relationship with corporate and partnership-level external CPAs; ensure annual audits, tax returns, and management reports are prepared and filed.
  • Oversee the team responsible for all operational accounting functions such as accounts payable, equity administration and accounting, accounts receivable, payroll, while adhering to best practices and GAAP.
  • Create multiyear cash flow projections and manage corporate cash flow to optimize use of company.
  • Manage banking relationships, including lines of credit, maintaining communications with investors.
  • Develop recapitalization analysis and oversee activities including project-level refinancing and re-syndications.
  • Report on financial risk management, including reporting on key financial risk metrics such as contingent liabilities, guaranty exposures, and related portfolio level operational data
