Event Coordinator

If you have exceptional organizational skills and love planning memorable events for a wide variety of clients, we would love to have you join our team as an event coordinator. You will be the “go-to” person for clients, staff, and vendors and will coordinate all the details to create flawless experiences for our clients and guests. Day-To-Day & Weekly Tasks:

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors

- Setting in-person and phone appointments with clients

- Collecting payments on time and sending payment reminders

- Planning event details and aspects, including diagrams, timelines, and finalizing guest counts

- Communicating all changes, updates, deadlines and other information to clients

- Placing weekly orders with vendors

- Providing information for our weekly BEO meetings

- Keeping the kitchen and banquet staff up to date with all upcoming events

- Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event

- Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events

• Proven experience as event coordinator
• A proven track record of organizing successful events
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent vendor management skills
• Outstanding communication
• Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
• Able to handle stress and remain calm
• Problem-solving ability
• Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred
