Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, Teacher Assistant or Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of students.
Duties:
- Lead Teacher OR Support Lead Teacher
- Implement and complete lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the absent teacher
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and promote positive interactions
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity of instruction
- Follow school policies and procedures
ECE / Preschool Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Experience With Young Children
- References
- Pass Clearances
K12 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with young children / teens (e.g., preschool, childcare, early childhood education, or K12 settings)
- Knowledge of various subjects, including math, literacy education, and special education
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and follow lesson plans effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Pass Clearances
