NetSuite Manufacturing Consultant

The NetSuite Manufacturing Consultant will play a lead role in the implementation, upgrade, enhancement and integration of the NetSuite Manufacturing Suite including Procurement, Quality Management, Work in Progress & Routings, Work Orders & Assemblies, Advanced Manufacturing, and Advanced Inventory Management. The Consultant will participate in establishing and implementing leading practice capabilities to drive successful process optimization for manufacturing and document and communicate requirements achieving comprehensive understanding and adoption by the client while ensuring that manufacturing solutions are designed and implemented to achieve business objectives and deliver value.  The successful candidate will be a dynamic, experienced, and innovative consultant with strong experience in manufacturing.  You will work with our clients to create, implement, and enable standardized processes that are efficient, scalable, and map to NetSuite solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze business objectives and define the scope of activities required to accomplish the objectives, including requirement definition, process review and redesign, change management impact assessment and operational streamlining.
• Lead all aspects of engagements including documentation of project needs; analysis & research of needs and possible solutions; identifying business and technology solutions; gathering, documenting and updating business requirements; optimizing workflow processes; mapping legacy processes to industry-leading solutions.
• Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor, stakeholder and user needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members.
• Coordinate and provide support to the business by focusing on process-first implementation techniques.
• Author and review documentation including design, implementation, test, and support documents.
• Contribute to the development of process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis, and change management.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of manufacturing solutions implementation and optimization experience with 1-3 years of experience implementing NetSuite manufacturing modules.
• Experience in project lifecycle; proficient application of implementation methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline; leading an entire work stream of relevant applications.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading in the definition of systems strategy; gathering & documenting business requirements; fit-gap analyses; process designs; application designs & configuration; functional designs for data conversions & interfaces; informal unit testing; formal testing cycles; and user training.
• Concise and informative communication skills with strong problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Exemplary documentation capabilities.
• Experience with conflict resolution.
• Strong ability to present critical thinking, options, decision paths & impacts, and resolutions to all audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant major or experience equivalency.

Work Location

• Most work is remote. Travel is infrequent, varying with consultant preference and client requirement.
