ABOUT THE POSITION


Summary


The Document Management Specialist is responsible for managing all assigned attorney eDiscovery functions and establishing priorities. This Specialist supports the team by communicating with attorneys, clients, and other professionals on various Document Management matters, managing and coordinating deadlines, and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter and one who will eventually train and mentor the team on all things related to eDiscovery and Document Management.


Key Responsibilities


· Work with all attorneys to ensure compliance with discovery deadlines and discovery requests are answered accurately and on time

· Develop, implement, monitor, and refine document review workflows

· Develop standard protocols for identifying client data mappings and perform data extractions

· Meet with clients to perform data extraction as needed according to developed standard protocols

· Client/outside party data extraction, data intake, platform set up and management, stratifying review process and coding, staying up with newest tech (including AI or assisted review), training reviewers, and data extraction.

· Organize and maintain physical and electronic files related to discovery efforts

WHO WOULD DO WELL IN THIS POSITION?


Knowledge & Skills


· Minimum of 6 years' experience within a Document Management role with primary focus on eDiscovery

· Experience providing support for attorneys or legal entities with document review and management

· Must have strong technical skills – Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Litify, Endicia Connect, Scansnap, eFax, CSC prepare, State and Federal filing systems

· Preferred use of Relativity, Logikcull, and/or other eDiscovery platforms

· CEDS preferred
