Manager of Caregiver Support Services

The Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging & Disability is seeking a Manager of Family Caregiver Support Programs.

Responsible for oversight of programs and services designed to support caregivers of older adults, persons with dementia and non-birth children within a 10-county region including supervision of staff responsible for coordination and delivery of client services, planning and facilitating support groups, organizing educational and enrichment opportunities and facilitating state-funded financial assistance. Establishing and maintaining partnerships to assist with client needs. Adhering to program budgets and ensuring proper use of public funds and donations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational and computer skills, and experience with record management systems. Candidates must be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal/external contacts and partners and work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in a human or social service field and must have experience supervising staff. Experience working with caregivers or older adults and managing community-based programs is preferred.
