Account Executive (Sales Professional), Northern California

Based in Northern California, the successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with agencies and presenting the capabilities and products of Econolite to key agency personnel. The individual will also be responsible for managing key accounts within the region and expanding the market within the western US. The candidate will be responsible for being the primary point-of-contact, from the field on all project pursuits within the region; they will assist with the formation of project teams, analyze requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), generate proposals, estimate project scopes, and provide product management support for CV-specific products sold by Econolite.

The ideal candidate will have a 5 + years experience in sales account management. Leveraging their experience to cultivate relationships within existing agencies and utilize their background in selling to other engineers and technical departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 + years experience in a Sales Account Management role.
• Previous technology sales or SaaS experience helpful
• As a primary point of contact for our customers, this position requires a self-starter with excellent integrity and work ethics to work remotely with minimum of supervision.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment or independently.
• Knowledge and experience in the traffic industry is preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Connected Vehicle technologies desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business OR equivalent experience in Sales Account Management role.

COMPENSATION

The base compensation range for this full-time exempt position is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year plus commission & benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The compensation range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

• Moderate business travel is required on an average of 25% when and as needed
