Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Director to lead our operations. As an Area Director, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple automotive facilities, ensuring operational excellence, and driving business growth within your assigned region. Your leadership and strategic abilities will be crucial in achieving our regional and organizational objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve business goals, including revenue targets, market share growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to multiple automotive facilities within your area, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage facility managers and their teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance to maximize profitability within your region.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and performance of facilities in your area.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong customer relationships and address customer concerns or escalations promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all facilities in your area comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Expansion and Development: Identify opportunities for expansion, new facility openings, or acquisitions within your region.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to deliver consistent and high-quality automotive services.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align regional efforts with overall business strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry, including at least 3-5 years in a regional or area management role.

Physical Demands
