The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service levels. This role involves collecting and interpreting data from various sources, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions to streamline processes across procurement, production, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The Supply Chain Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain visibility, collaboration, and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze supply chain data and metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, transportation costs, and supplier performance, to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to accurately predict demand and ensure proper inventory levels across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to streamline supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Evaluate and optimize transportation and distribution networks, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing costs.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Identify and implement best practices and new technologies to enhance supply chain visibility, automation, and integration.
- Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to drive long-term supply chain excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)
- Bachelor's degree, Supply Chain Management (preferred) or a professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, PMP).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software, such as ERP systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Smart Sheet, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
