Prestress Concrete Inspector

We are currently searching for a talented Prestress Concrete Inspector to support our Carolinas Region located in the Clemson, SC, Wilmington, or Charlotte, NC area.

The individual will represent NCDOT at various prestress fabrication plants within North or South Carolina. The duties consist of inspection of all types of prestress concrete materials manufactured at the various plants. May require out of town travel and overnight stays depending on the needs of NCDOT. Candidate will follow NCDOT approved guidelines, including daily reporting, inspecting, and releasing of final approval of prestress products.

What you need to have:

• Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology and 5 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
• NCDOT/ACI Concrete Field Certifications required or recently expired
• PCI Level I, II, or III Certification preferred
• Structure Inspection experience
