Through My Life My Brand, we provide Marketing and Branding Services to individuals and businesses, with one of our largest service needs involving videography and video editing. One of our leading ongoing projects that is to be spearheaded by My Life My Brand involves the production of videos that feature different aspects of My Life My Power, namely our Private Preparatory Academies throughout South Florida as it pertains to our success in impacting the lives of youth within our schools. If you have in-office management experience and could manage a team of 4 people and are skilled in creative design, we're looking for you! This position is one that requires you to work out of our headquarters office in Miami (33155) where you would manage and oversee a team of 4 video editors to make sure that video projects are completed on time, the team is staying focused on the projects at hand and then act as the go-between for the editors and provide our Marketing Director with daily/weekly updates and reports. Having experience in video production and editing is important for this position because you will also be able to support the editors with your own experience with storyboarding, production and post production.

A rundown of what this role would look like on a daily/weekly basis…At the start of each week, you and the Marketing Director will co-lead a weekly meeting to go over upcoming projects for the editing team and set goals for the week for each editor. Throughout the day, you will oversee the team to make sure that they are meeting their deadlines, using their time efficiently and going through each of the final video projects with the editors to provide approval for all videos being completed before being submitted to the Marketing Director. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 4 editors to make sure that daily and weekly goals are being made and met
• Oversee and coordinate video editing projects from inception to completion
• Storyboard, film and edit video projects
• Communicate project scopes, timelines, and milestones with our editing team
• Act as the go-between for editors and upper management
• Continually monitor project status and report to senior management
• Lead and manage all phases of video production, including strategy, development, contracting, pre-production, production on set, post-production, and distribution
• This job will take place primarily within the Miami-Dade area; however, on occasion, filming and/or photography will take place elsewhere within South Florida as well as the opportunity to travel across the country on specific filming jobs, all paid for by our company.
• Programs that you must be knowledgeable in include Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in project management, specifically in video editing and video projects

- Strong understanding of video production workflow

- Creative design experience

- Marketing experience is favorable but not required

- Exceptional communication skill

- Proficiency in project management software

- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

- Traveling Internationally (passport is required)
