Position Summary:The Account Executive position is part of the sales team which is the key revenue and margin generating role for the TMC organization. This is done through account management, account development, and new account acquisition through cold calling, networking, tradeshows and incoming leads. The industrial account executive will call on R&D, Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain, C-suite and other roles that will be instrumental in reviewing and purchasing TMC products. With industrial business as the main channel, further networking across the industry as well as within our other target channels of Foodservice Operators, Colleges and Universities, Foodservice distributors, C-Stores, Co-manufacturers etc. Leveraging your career connections with Culinary, Marketing, R&D and Supply chain will be essential for success.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:- 10 year minimum work experience
- College Degree or equivalent
- Meet and exceed territory goals in revenue, margin and relationship development.
- Develop and prioritize current accounts for growth, retention and maintenance.
- Define and execute account management plans and strategies.
- Actively pursue, develop and close targeted chain accounts, regional distributors, C&Us, etc. by leveraging existing and newly developed relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with accounts covering key functions as applicable in supply chain, culinary, R&D, marketing and the C-suite.
- Work with R&D and other internal and customer’s in-house members to fit current or develop customer TMC products.
- Pipeline management of multiple opportunities to ensure short term closes and long term revenue target achievement.
- Research customer environments to customize account strategy, selling message, product recommendation and resource needs.
- Taylor presentation materials to target customer objectives and unique environment.
- Sales process management from onset to close.
- Setting sales strategies for optimal relationship and revenue development.
- Customer problem solving.
- Competitive data gathering with formulation into selling strategies.
- Forecast revenue to the customer SKU level.
- Develop volume and trade spend forecasting and price modeling to meet business’ financial goals.
- Participate in and support trade shows.
- Represent TMC products and business at internal meetings and presentations.
- Communicate status and changes in direction to the head of TMC sales.
- Proven track record of results and sense of urgency.
- Proven ability to develop a territory plan and execute to achieve sales volume and margin targets.
- Successful selling into competitive markets.
- Distributor set up and development.
- National and regional account networking.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Presentation development through PowerPoint.
- CRM use experience with SF.com a plus.
- Cold calling.
- Sales process/pipeline management to a successful close.

- Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
