Senior Social Media Specialist, Pet

We're Looking For A: Senior Social Media Specialist, Pet that will be tasked with executing comprehensive social media strategies and managing various social media channels for brands centered around pets. The role involves creating and publishing social media content, engaging with audiences, and monitoring social media trends and conversations.

Location: Remote (Office in Woodland Hills, CA)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating on Pacific Time to ensure timely interactions with our fur-tastic followers (9am - 5pm PST).
• Crafting and sharing paws-itively delightful monthly content across various social media platforms, from Facebook and Instagram to TikTok, Twitter, and Pinterest.
• Formulating and executing social media strategies that cater to the unique needs of pet-centric brands, driving engagement and wag-worthy conversions.
• Lead the pack of other social media specialists, offering guidance on content creation and campaign development.
• Scrutinizing social media metrics like a hawk-eyed vet, sharing regular reports to senior management on the purrformance and ROI of our projects.
• Collaborating with fellow departments to seamlessly integrate social media into larger campaigns, whether it's email marketing, website development, paid advertising, or PR.
• Providing a helping paw to the Team and Manager on cross-functional and department-wide projects.

• Leadership skills to mentor a pack of social media specialists and provide guidance throughout their Golden Hippo journey.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently, ensuring that all social media campaigns are ready to pounce on time.
• A nose for the latest social media trends and technologies, especially in the pet-loving community.
• Proficiency in handling various social media platforms and using tools to make sure our content is reaching the right tails.
• Talent for crafting engaging content that speaks to the hearts (and tails) of our audience.
• A flair for thinking outside the litter box and dreaming up creative campaigns.
• Excellent communicator, whether you're meowing at team members or barking up the corporate tree.
• Ability to create social media strategies that fetch engagement, traffic, and leads.
• A knack for digging into data and turning it into actionable insights that propel our pet-loving mission forward.
• Top-notch skills to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines without letting any balls (or squeaky toys) drop.
• A history of growing organic followers and helping companies achieve their revenue goals.
• 5+ years of experience managing social media in the Pet industry: The more wagging tails, the better!
• 5+ years of Experience managing multiple direct-response brands in the Pet industry (preferred): A proven track record of turning pet love into business success, preferably through direct-to-consumer channels.

The base salary range is $67,500-$90,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
