As the Oklahoma City market continues to expand, we are looking to add talented professionals to our experienced sales team.

The ideal Sales Account Manager is self-motivated, resourceful, customer-oriented and driven with experience within the multifamily industry and the willingness to go above and beyond with honesty and integrity to their customer and the company to build their book of business. In turn, Redi Carpet will provide tools and resources to help gain the knowledge of our flooring products and services to help present best solutions to clients, based on needs and budgets.

The Sales Account Manager role is to actively seek new sales opportunities, measure floorplans, identify flooring products, generate sales proposals, schedule flooring installations, quickly respond to various inquiries and so much more. This role requires a positive, can-do attitude, working with various internal teams and daily travel throughout the entire Oklahoma City area. As the primary interface between Redi Carpet and our customers, the Account Manager must represent the company faithfully and with the highest level of integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Development and Customer Focus – Prospect opportunities to develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as their point of contact for all account and flooring-related needs.
  • Business Industry Acumen – Develop subject matter expertise to become a trusted advisor through regular, value-add communication, offering clients flooring solutions that help achieve their goals and meet budget requirements.
  • Teamwork – Collaborate with colleagues across teams to assist with client issues, drive sales revenue and provide exceptional customer service to all.
  • Customer Focus – Deliver outstanding customer support through regular, value-add communication and offer solutions to help maintain or exceed customer expectations.
  • Accountability – Clearly communicate and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual progress and goals to management to ensure the overall team’s success.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Measure and generate budget conscious floorplans, layouts and seam diagrams using measuring, takeoff and estimating software to ensure best area integrity, while focused on flooring layout and product details
  • Become an active member of the Arizona Multi-Housing Association (AMA) and attend industry events as needed, including committees and volunteer work
  • Collaborate daily with customer service and operations to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Use good business practices and represent yourself, as well as the company with highest level of integrity
  • Be available by phone, text and/or email during all operational hours, after hours and sometimes, weekends to respond to all client and operational requests in a timely manner
  • Any additional tasks requested by management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Two or more years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in multifamily and/or flooring
  • Experience managing customer relationships through the entire customer life cycle, including contact and pipeline management
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas in a consultative sales environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations at a high growth company
  • Highly energetic, organized self-starter who can work within a team environment and independently, with a proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of audiences and deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Regular and consistent access to an operational motor vehicle with the ability to drive for extended periods and intermittently throughout each workday
  • Satisfactory completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check with driving history reflecting responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws
  • Current and valid driver’s license required
  • High school diploma, some college preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
