Communication Video Coordinator

Position Title: Communication Video Coordinator

Reports To: Communication Director

Employment Status: Full-Time Hourly

Summary: The Communication Video Coordinator is responsible for executing high-quality videos of life change, testimonies, online content for website/social media, promotions, and event recaps for Doxa Church.

Qualifications:

• Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing, personal relationship with Him. 
• Be a member of Doxa Church and wholeheartedly embrace the doctrine, mission, and worship philosophy of Doxa. 
• This person must be humble, loyal, trustworthy, capable, flexible, detail-oriented, able to hold confidences, and have a servant’s heart.  In addition, this individual must be able to comprehend and implement the vision and initiatives of Doxa Church and possess excellent clerical, organizational, and computer skills with good interpersonal competencies. 
• Self-motivated and dedicated to learning new technologies.
• Able to write a script and conduct compelling video interviews.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds.
• Thorough knowledge of studio video production, cameras, lighting, and video editing.
• Available to work Sundays and church events including but not limited to: Kids Camp and Anniversary services. Must also have availability to work during the Easter and Christmas seasons.

Experience or Education:

• Extensive knowledge of studio lighting design and video production.

• Basic knowledge and experience in the following programs:  
  • Google Suite  
  • Adobe Photoshop  
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the following programs: 
  • Adobe Premiere Pro  
  • DaVinci Resolve
• Proficient knowledge of social media and social media trends.
• Able to provide a demonstrable portfolio of work.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:    

• Envision, produce, storyboard concepts, film and conduct interviews, gather necessary b-roll footage, and edit videos pertaining to:
  • God at Work
  • Testimonies
  • Event Recaps
  • Promos
  • Ministries
  • Website
  • Other creative, storytelling, and/or non-Sunday service content
• Champion the Doxa Church and Doxalogic social media channels, including but not limited to strategy, filming and editing videos, scheduling, etc.
• Film, edit, and distribute videos pertaining to the Doxalogic podcast, including but not limited to:
  • Full episodes
  • Mailbag clips
  • Social media videos
• Schedule, organize, and manage video shoots.
• Oversee and lead the studio video team.
• Assist with gathering stories of life change within the church.
• Lead Doxa photo team, including:
  • Scheduling photo requests
  • Leading and recruiting volunteers
  • Ensuring photo coverage of church events, headshots, Sunday services, and other needs as requested.
  • Editing photos according to brand standards.
  • Manage Doxa photo storage site
• Be a vital contributor to the Communications team by contributing creative video and photo ideas that align with Doxa Church's branding and the department's direction.
• Assist Live Video Coordinator and Production team with projects when needed and available.
• Lead outside contractors on video and photo projects, when needed.
• Other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
