Category Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage and execute 2-3 food categories that meet and exceed financial goals and objectives
• Analyze data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure the success of your assigned categories
• Conduct regular category reviews to ensure that product assortments, pricing, and promotions are optimized for success
• Manage relationships with vendors to negotiate terms and secure exclusive products and deals
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging products, and best practices to continuously improve category performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in category management or a related area
• Experience working with KSA local suppliers/merchants in e-grocery industry (e-com) is a must
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies
• Strong negotiation skills
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in English and Arabic
