Retail Tech Lead - Americas

The position is with LVMH Beauty Tech within the regional Americas team managing the Retail, Trade and Data applications

LVMH Beauty Tech regional team is split between the North America LVMH P&C Shared Service Center and the Mexico LVMH Beauty Shared Service Center, servicing all major LVMH Beauty Brands for the region: Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givenchy, Kenzo, Guerlain, Acqua di Parma, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Fresh, Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Stella. LVMH Beauty Tech Americas also provides services to Kendo and Benefit Cosmetics.

Job Description

Responsible for leading Retail initiatives and providing functional and technical support on Retail applications in Americas markets, acting as a key point of contact for the different Retail teams.

Lead and Execute

• End-to-end POS implementations for Boutiques, counters, popups, and events in the Americas including Hardware, Software, peripherals, and payment devices
• This includes the full project development life cycle of analyzing, developing, testing, implementing, documenting, and user training
• Manage POS Support to ensure error-free applications
• Provide Technical support for POS systems and/or escalate as required in collaboration with other support teams
• Maintain updated inventory and perform all necessary version updates
• Managing POS vendors and technicians
• Travel to local boutiques and trade shows to provide on-site support as needed

Implementation & Support

• Manage the setup, architecture and maintenance of POS initiatives (Cegid Y2 and Infoware mainly)
  • Installation & configuration of POS hardware, peripherals, pin pads for payment, payment gateway
  • PCI compliance and security management
  • Integration with other applications
  • System monitoring (upgrades, versioning, security patching, back-ups...)
• Collaborate with POS support teams in analyzing production issues and managing corrective actions in coordination with development teams across Americas markets.

Project management

• Manage small to mid-size Retail IS projects with internal departments and external suppliers
• Write detailed specifications
• Develop and/or follow-up developments
• Define test approach and support Users Acceptance Tests
• Take part in the preparation of change management documentation (Training and communication)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Retail Tech Lead/Systems analyst supporting a retail POS environment
• Retail Operations and Performance functional skills
• Technical and functional understanding of Retail POS systems
• Project Management experience
• Experienced in Agile methodology
• Experience with Y2 from Cegid or Infoware is a plus
• Ideally experienced in international / multi-brands context + knowledge about luxury industry
• Mastery of Spanish or French is a plus

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $120,000.00-$125,000.00.

This is a hybrid working position, based in New York City OR East Brunswick, NJ. Team members are in office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
