We are currently seeking a motivated candidate to join our growing team. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow our client base. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate is driven by a desire to grow both financially and professionally, continually striving for improvement, demonstrating competitiveness, and exhibiting a relentless determination to succeed by doing whatever it takes to win, all while setting and pursuing ambitious goals. As a sales organization, we are actively seeking our next top salespeople who embody these qualities and are eager to join our dynamic team!

Start Date: We are looking to fill this position for a start date of July 15th.

Potential Year 1 Earnings:

  • Base Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 depending on experience.
  • Commission: $5,000 - $9,000 +
  • Bonuses: $6,000
  • Earning Range: $51,000 - $60,000

Potential Year 2 Earnings:

  • Base Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 depending on experience.
  • Commission: $15,000 - $27,000 +
  • Bonuses: $6,000
  • Earning Range: $61,000 - $78,000

Your Role:

  • Prospecting companies who are looking for an enhanced experience from their logistics partner
  • Qualifying ALS services that best help our customers
  • Communicating with existing ALS customer accounts and solving their business-critical operations
  • Being a valued service for our customers and the clients voice at ALS.
  • Responsible to identify continuous improvement opportunities while working in the day to day.
  • Acquire customers via high-volume cold calling, email prospecting, social networking, referrals, etc. We assist in providing leads.
  • Providing quotes and negotiating rates with customers
  • Communicating thoroughly and proactively throughout the shipment process

Requirements:

  • Prior sales or account management experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in prospecting and lead generation is preferred.
  • Team player with collaborative mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred.
