We are looking for a dynamic Compliance Customer Account Executive to join our growing Enterprise team.

Our Compliance Customer Account Executives (CAEs) play a crucial role in building long-term, transformational customer relationships in our flagship ethics and compliance product set, across a broad range of private and public sector customers.

Key to this is your ability to effectively manage an assigned territory of existing Learning Pool customers, engaging and growing our network of individual relationships. By understanding each customers' strategy and key ethics and compliance requirements and collaborating with subject matter expert colleagues, you'll be able to build compelling Learning Pool solutions to deliver growth and contract longevity.

Location:

Although this is a remote position, face to face meetings with clients are encouraged and often required. Therefore candidates must reside in one of the following areas: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia or West Virginia.

What you will be doing

Responsibilities will include:

Renewal and Expansion

  • Develop territory and account plans in collaboration with your leader in order to deliver growth across your account base.
  • Active growth prospecting within your account base using a cadence software and other methods.
  • Plan and prioritize your book, activities, and meetings to ensure you are focused on your best opportunities.
  • Focus on renewing and expanding your customers early or on-time.
  • Understand and deliver Learning Pool's value proposition.
  • Be process driven with regard to the sales cycle.
  • Work with finance and legal teams to support the business with contracting, invoicing, and payments.
  • Demonstrate sales operational excellence by using our CRM to track activities and accurate forecasting.

Strategic Partnership Relationships
  • Understand your customer's business and objectives through detailed and ongoing discovery.
  • Invest in meaningful relationships with economic buyers and champions in your accounts by providing future strategy insight and value led ROI on their business & market.
  • Work alongside the customer success team to ensure we are delivering on the customer's current strategy to foster future growth.
  • Be open, collaborative, and customer-focused in all communications and transactions both internally and externally.


Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Sales experience: You will have 5 years + experience in a sales role, working to targets. Part of this experience will be with a consumer/customer facing B2B ethics and compliance SaaS product.
  • Proven track record: You will have proven your ability to work with enterprise level customers (6000+ employees)
  • Commercially driven: You will be focused on delivering timely renewals and customer growth, along with planning and managing pipeline for your account base.
  • Communications: You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Service orientation: You will have the confidence, knowledge, and skill to facilitate broad-ranging conversations with customers and senior stakeholders on the benefits of Learning Pools products to support their organizational future strategy.
  • Presentation skills: You will be able to present complex information concisely and clearly to audiences ranging from senior management teams, learning and development professionals and end users.
  • Organizational skills: You will have exceptional attention to detail as this will be essential to ensuring you keep tasks on track and take ownership for ensuring Learning Pool commitments are met.
  • Building relationships: You will be able to work with the wider Learning Pool team to ensure customers receive the full benefit of working with an innovative and customer-focused partner.
  • Innovation: You will have a focus and passion for continuous improvement, constantly ensuring that our practices, approach and interactions are optimized and the best in the market


Although not essential, it would be advantageous to have the following experience:
  • Experience working in the Ethics and Compliance Learning Technologies industry.

Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional home office environment. It is expected the employee has a separate dedicated working space within their home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and productivity tools such as computers, phones, email, instant messaging, Google collaborative tools, and project management platforms.

Mental Requirements:

Judgment, reasoning and decision-making, interpersonal interactions, memorization, strong organizational skills, math skills, simple and complex reading and writing, critical problem solving, significant attention to detail, critical thinking, and development of action plans.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Long hours working at the computer, using a mouse, and a keyboard.
