We're searching for a passionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic care team. This role requires a professional who is comfortable with virtual evaluations and treatments, ensuring our patients receive top-notch pulmonary physical therapy services without leaving their homes. BreatheSuite Physical Therapists utilize their clinical expertise and knowledge of best practices in pulmonary physical therapy and knowledge of restorative and preventative rehabilitation to evaluate and treat patients across the spectrum of lung conditions. 


BreatheSuite Physical Therapists get to practice entirely via telehealth delivering both 1:1 care with patients as well as group physical therapy treatments helping to provide patient-centered care to improve the lives of all our participants. We take pride in delivering well-rounded care to our patients and foster a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care alongside our Respiratory Health Coaches, Respiratory Therapists and referring providers. Please note that this position has open flexibility, meaning it could be part-time or full-time, depending on current business needs and applicant availability.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual evaluations to understand the specific needs of each patient.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique requirements of patients with chronic lung conditions.
  • Manages patient caseload safely and effectively to deliver optimal outcomes.
  • Remotely monitor patient progress asynchronously, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan as required.
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest in pulmonary rehabilitation and physical therapy best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service to our patients.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of given instruction
  • Remain highly adaptable to taking on new workflows or processes, approach challenges with critical thinking and creative problem-solving within a fast-paced growing environment.
  • Thrive off a flexible schedule 
  • As a fully virtual telehealth company, you must be able to deliver patient care services in a private, professional space with reliable, strong internet connection and be located within the United States.


Qualifications: 

  • Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona.
  • More than 2 years experience working with heart and lung patients in either acute care or outpatient settings is preferred.
  • Comfortable with using technology and virtual platforms for delivering care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and practice within the scope of physical therapy practice.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of patients with chronic lung conditions.

Preferred, but not necessary:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree
  • Board-certified clinical specialist in cardiovascular & pulmonary physical therapy and/or geriatric physical therapy
  • Fluency in medical Spanish, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in outpatient physical therapy billing rules and regulations
  • Experience communicating and connecting virtually with Slack
