Our production line includes in-house drawing, fabrication, sandblasting, and powder painting.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager. This professional is in charge of directing and overseeing the design and implementation of a range of metal erection projects, with the goal of ensuring that each project is completed successfully the first time. The projects span from residential villages to mixed-use, mid-rise commercial structures. The Project Manager ensures that each project's scope, timetables, and budgets are properly planned, communicated effectively, and carried out correctly, guiding the project from point of sale to final billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate resources to achieve first-time success, with an emphasis on scope, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage punch lists and project closure tasks.
  • Collaborate with the sales, engineering, and operations teams to achieve project success.
  • Carefully review contracts and plan initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to engineering and execution teams, assigning resources and delegating duties as needed to meet the goal of first-time success.
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation schedules and operations.
  • Monitor project costs and profit margins, taking the required measures to stay under budget.
  • Assist sales with pre-contract activities such as proposal preparation, scope definition, submission drawings, planning resources, budgets, and cost-estimate computation for accurate bids.
  • Proactively manage and document change orders from clients.
  • Maintain strong ties with outside vendors as needed.
  • Travel to project sites as needed.
  • Communicate directly with consumers throughout the duration of the project.
  • Ensure client pleasure. After the project is completed, verify client acceptance.

Key Skills/Requirements

o 5-7 years of construction project management experience and good project management abilities.

o A thorough grasp of metal manufacturing techniques, equipment, and resources

Ability to efficiently read and assess blueprints and shop drawings.

Capability to plan and manage many projects concurrently.

o Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Strong customer service attitude with dynamic connection development and negotiation abilities.

o Excellent planning, organizing, and documentation skills.

o Proficient in computer navigation and Microsoft Office.

o Capable of maintaining attention under pressure and efficiently solving challenges.

o Detail-oriented, having excellent attention and precision in thinking.

o Self-directed and capable of completing tasks without supervision

o Teachable; capable of following instructions.
